Over the past several years, Pontiac General has invested over $15 million in capital improvements including:
- Updated hospital interior
- Remodeled cafeteria
- New equipment and technology
- New heating and cooling (HVAC) system
- Remodeling patients’ units to convert to ligature proof for psychiatric patients
- Installed magnetic locks at several levels for safety
